As I was walking into work yesterday, there was a person standing next to the elevator bank with a basket. When I passed her she said "Happy Spring!" and handed me three closed daffodil buds. Well okay, I realize that makes it sound like she was just standing there specifically waiting for me, but that wasn't the case. Everyone got themselves some buds. Anyway, I put them in the only container I had at my desk and by the end of the day that had opened all the way up - I feel like they are sitting there and smiling at me. I took this cell phone picture before I left for the day, so excuse the quality. Now if only I could be greeted with flowers every morning (or at the very least, once a week).

I have the exact same view right now: the gorgeous Ilee calendar turned to the spectacular March page! I adore this calendar - gave one to all my favorite girls this holiday season.
I bought flowers this week for my desk (for the first time in a long time). Hydrangea, yellow callas and mums make work so much better.
